Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. You don’t need a special skill or experience. We have many volunteer opportunities which can be undertaken by anyone without training, or minimal training. If you do have a special skill, please let us know, as this would be a wonderful way to benefit the Dharma community.

Our mission is to provide people in Belfast and those across Northern Ireland access to Buddhist meditation and other tools to cultivate meaningful, peaceful, and happy lives.
The Potala Kadampa Buddhist Centre’s approach to training the mind is based on the New Kadampa Tradition teachings, which bring the practice of Buddhist meditation to the world in a contemporary and accessible manner. We offer diverse courses and study programs for all levels of practitioners, ranging from people who just wish to learn about meditation through to those who wish to engage in in-depth study and practice of the Buddhist path to enlightenment.
Each contribution of your time is immensely meaningful and will contribute to the spreading of Buddha’s teachings across Northern Ireland. This means you will be helping others learn the true causes of happiness and how to attain it!
If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the form and email it to potala. email@example.com or hand it in at the centre.
“Thank you for your interest in helping to spread Buddha’s teachings …. If we think clearly we shall realize that all our present and future happiness depends upon our cherishing others.” —-Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
