& Je Tsongkhapa Empowerment

November, Fri 3rd – Sun 5th | with Kadam Bridget Heyes | Potala KBC, Belfast
Enjoy a deeply relaxing and inspiring weekend of practical teachings and meditations with internationally renowned Kadampa Buddhist teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes.
Learn how the practises of meditation & mindfulness found within modern Kadampa Buddhism enable everyone to discover and fully actualize our inner potential to live with greater love, compassion & wisdom. In this way can all find a truly peaceful, happy and fulfilling life.
The weekend starts on Friday evening, with a special public talk entitled ‘Meditation & mindfulness – and the pursuit of happiness’. Discover how meditation & mindfulness can help everyone overcome problems such as negativity, fear and anxiety and significantly increase our overall levels of inner peace, happiness & well-being.
On Saturday, Kadam Bridget will grant the blessing empowerment of the wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa. The empowerment is a deeply peaceful guided meditation through which we connect to a partiulcar Buddha and their inspiration. In this way we can begin the journey of fully actualizing our spiritual potential for love, compassion and wisdom, as well as find lasting inner peace and happiness.
Meditations will be guided by one of the senior Kadampa teachers.
Everyone is welcome, to this special Dharma Celebration, which sees people gather from all over Ireland, from beginners to those with more experience of meditation & Buddhism. Food and drink during the festival can be found in the many good nearby cafes and restaurants.
