In this half day retreat you will experience the benefits of four guided meditations and enjoy two talks on how to increase your confidence and sense of contentment with yourself, as well as how to reduce your self critical tendencies and acknowledge and actualize our spiritual potential.
Gen Chitta will teach practical methods on how to practice Buddhist teachings and meditations to transform our way of relating to ourself and others.
Ordained as a Buddhist nun since 2009 and with years of experience of study and practice before this, Gen Chitta has the ability to convey the teachings of Kadampa Buddhism in a way that makes them easy to understand and practice. Her guided meditations are both gentle and powerful, relaxing and transformative.
Everyone is welcome, beginners and experienced meditators alike. No special clothes are required and seating is provided in chairs and meditation cushions. There is free on-street parking on the street just outside, we are just minutes from the Westlink Divis St/ Millfield exit, and we are just 18 min walk from City Hall and the Central Station.
