Join us of a weekend of Buddhist teachings, blessings, guided meditations and chanted prayers.

Guided by Buddhist Nun Gen Kelsang Tubchen from our Kadampa Meditation Centre in Aberdeen, she will offer the Empowerment of Green Tara, a special blessing and guided meditation, and give teachings on how to use the rare and extraordinary Tara Transference of Consciousness practice. We will also gain insight into the Buddhist Path in general and it’s power to alleviate the fears and anxieties we all experience every day.
THE LOCATION
Ards Friary lies within 200 acres of grounds with access to beautiful beaches. Ards hosts some spectacular views. Its peace and serenity have meditative qualities, allowing you to wonder and explore. Ards Country park is next to the Friary and walks from the Friary, extend into it, allowing you to venture even further.
For anyone using public transport we can suggest two coaches. Gallaghers Coaches who travel between Belfast and Creeslough and John McGinley Coaches who travel between Dublin and Creeslough. Both companies include collection points along the route to Creeslough.
