Everyone is warmly welcome to join the Irish Dharma Celebration 2018, which sees people gather from all over Ireland every year. It offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a deeply relaxing and inspiring weekend of practical teachings of modern Buddhism (as well as guided meditations) with internationally renowned Kadampa Buddhist teacher, Kadam Bridget Heyes.
Kadam Bridget will explain how we can all take control of the direction of our lives by understanding and living in accordance with the law of Karma. She will grant the blessing empowerment (on Saturday) and introduce us to the special meditation practise of Buddha Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification. This empowers us to deeply purify, or heal, the karma that gives rise to our present suffering and problems and find deep and lasting inner peace and happiness.
Also, she will explain how we can all learn to connect to and fully awaken our spiritual potential for good qualities – such as love, compassion & wisdom. In this way, we can develop the confidence that we and all others can become free of suffering, problems and fears, and move towards the happy and fulfilling life we all long for. Everyone is welcome, whether beginners or those with more experience of meditation & Buddhism.
