Kadam Bridget Heyes will grant the special Empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri and give teachings on the Healing nature of Buddha’s most profound Wisdom teachings on Emptiness.
When wisdom is in our hearts, our mind is very clear, confident, and free from disturbing thoughts. Since all negative minds are based on the opposite of wisdom – confusion – everyone needs to develop wisdom.
There is one type of wisdom that through its realisation will permanently heal us from mental pain, the source of all our unhappiness. This wisdom, called ‘Emptiness’, is the profound realisation that everyone in our world exists as a mere appearance to our mind, like a dream.
This event is open to everyone. It will begin with the Blessing Empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri. This is a special Buddhist meditation practice whereby, through guided meditation and visualisation we can connect to our own potential for inner peace, as well as receiving positive energy, inspiration, and authentic joy onto our hearts.
Then Kadam Bridget will explain the practice of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri and how to connect to him.
During retreat a number of books will be referenced. These include Modern Buddhism, How to Transform Your Life and Mirror of Dharma (with additions). All publications will be available to buy on retreat, with the first two available as free ebook downloads.
