Everyone is welcome. The event is suitable to those new to mantra meditation and buddhism as well as experienced practitioners.

Join us for an inspiring introduction to the practice of mantra. Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Chitta will explain how to use mantra recitation to improve our peace of mind, compassion and wisdom. Mantra is something we can practice at any time, which brings us many powerful short and long term benefits. It connects us with the good qualities of the enlightened mind and helps us to realize our highest potential.

Afterward, you will learn the art of making and using a mala. A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object.

In this hands-on workshop you’ll have the opportunity to make a mala for yourself. You can also bring malas to repair.
