Every living being has the universal wish to achieve permanent happiness and freedom from problems.
Generally societal messages encourage us to seek happiness outside of our mind. In general we think when I become educated, skilled, wealthy, successful, revered, married, a parent, etc, I’ll be happy. However, even if we gain each of these goals, we can still feel our problems have not reduced. What is missing?
Buddha taught where the real source of happiness can be found. In this retreat Sara will guide us in meditations and ancient teachings that clearly outline the inner paths that will bring great satisfaction and meaning in our lives.
We will gain clarity on the preciousness of our human life and the answer to the most profound question. What is meaning of my life?
Sara has been studying and practicing with Kadampa Meditation Centre for many years and has a wealth of experience to share of these practical Buddhist and Meditation techniques. Sharing with humour and humility her retreats are widely enjoyed and come highly recommended.
Seating will be in your choice of chairs or matts and cushions.
There will be a 30min refreshment break at about 3:30pm. Complimentary hot drinks and light snacks will be available in our cafe lounge area.
Everyone is welcome. The retreat is suitable to those new to meditation as well as experienced practitioners.
