Travel options to Corrymeela

Corrymeela is located 60 miles north of Belfast and just 2 miles outside the picturesque seaside town of Ballycastle.

Travelling by Translink

By Bus: local bus service is Translink Ulsterbus. They operate a service from Belfast to Ballycastle via Coleraine (1 change). The best way to find a bus is to search their Journey Planner using the following criteria, changing the dates and times where appropriate.

By Rail: local train services are run by Translink NI Railways, operating a service from Belfast (Great Victoria Street) to Coleraine. The best way to find a train is to search the Journey Planner using the above criteria, changing the dates and times where appropriate. Great Victoria Street Station is located right beside Europa Bus Centre.

On arrival at Coleraine Train Station, catch a bus to Ballycastle. Bus and train timetables regularly change and it is strongly advised that you contact Ulsterbus/Translink before making any travel plans.

Travelling by Car

Travel north from Belfast on the M2. Take exit A26 Ballymena/ Coleraine. Follow signs for Coleraine until you are well past Ballymena. Follow the signposted right–hand turn for Ballycastle (A44). When you get to Ballycastle, drive down the Main Street to the seafront.

As you approach the sea, there is a small roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout, then next left onto Cushendall road – past the Golf Club. Take left at next road (Drumaroan Rd), Corrymeela is signposted from this point. Keep on the Drumaroan Road for 1.4 miles and take right hand fork up the hill.
