Travelling To Corrymeela

Corrymeela is located 60miles north of Belfast and just 2miles outside the picturesque seaside town of Ballycastle.

Travelling By Air

Northern Ireland is well served by three main airports, George Best Belfast City AirportBelfast International Airport, and Dublin Airport. All offer excellent transport connections to and from the UK.

George Best Belfast City Airport (55miles from Ballycastle) – take the Airbus 600 to the Europa Bus Station, Belfast;

Belfast International Airport (44 miles from Ballycastle) – take the Airbus 300 to the Europa Bus Station, Belfast

Dublin Airport (152 miles from Ballycastle). If flying to Dublin, please note that the journey from Dublin to Belfast will take approximately 2h30min by public transport.

Travelling from Belfast to Ballycastle

By Bus: local bus service is Ulsterbus/Translink. They operate a service from Belfast to Ballycastle via Coleraine (1 change). The best way to find a bus is to search their Journey Planner using the following criteria, changing the dates and times where appropriate.

By Rail: local train services are run by Northern Ireland Railways, operating a service from Belfast (Great Victoria Street) to Coleraine. The best way to find a train is to search the Journey Planner using the above criteria, changing the dates and times where appropriate. Great Victoria Street Station is located right beside Europa Bus Centre.

On arrival at Coleraine Train Station, catch a bus to Ballycastle. Bus and train timetables regularly change and it is strongly advised that you contact Ulsterbus/Translink before making any travel plans.

Travelling by Car

Travel north from Belfast on the M2. Take exit A26 Ballymena/ Coleraine. Follow signs for Coleraine until you are well past Ballymena. Follow the signposted right–hand turn for Ballycastle (A44). When you get to Ballycastle, drive down the Main Street to the seafront.

As you approach the sea, there is a small roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout, then next left onto Cushendall road – past the Golf Club. Take left at next road (Drumaroan Rd), Corrymeela is signposted from this point. Keep on the Drumaroan Road for 1.4 miles and take right hand fork up the hill.

Travelling from Ballycastle to Corrymeela
